DOI and ORCID

Published articles will be assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) whenever permitted by the institution’s registration mechanisms. The DOI will be displayed as a URL link on the article page, in its metadata, and in all publication formats. Authors will be requested to provide an ORCID iD to distinguish their identities and ensure the correct attribution of their contributions.

Research Data and Materials

Whenever ethically, legally, and technically possible, authors must provide access to the data, protocols, code, and materials necessary to understand or verify the results, preferably through trusted repositories that assign persistent identifiers. Any restrictions related to privacy, consent, confidentiality, intellectual property, biodiversity, security, or institutional agreements must be explained in a data availability statement.

Preservation and Interoperability

infoANALÍTICA preserves its content on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and through digital backups managed by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. The journal uses the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) to support metadata interoperability and harvesting and is compatible with the LOCKSS system to facilitate the distributed preservation of its files.

The journal will retain copies of its content and metadata in the available editorial formats and may incorporate the PKP Preservation Network, CLOCKSS, or other recognized preservation mechanisms, subject to its technical and institutional capacity. The objective is to ensure the recovery, integrity, accessibility, and permanent availability of the published scholarly record.
