infoANALÍTICA is a scientific journal of the School of Chemical Sciences at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE). It was established in 2013 to promote the dissemination of knowledge and strengthen scientific communication in the field of chemistry and its applications.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications related to analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, applied chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, food chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, polymers, materials, sensors, instrumentation, sample preparation, data processing, and other related fields. The journal considers fundamental and applied research that contributes new knowledge, develops or evaluates methodologies, and helps understand or address scientific and technological problems.

infoANALÍTICA is intended for researchers, faculty members, professionals, and students in the chemical, exact, and natural sciences, both in Ecuador and other countries. It accepts manuscripts in Spanish and English and encourages submissions from national and international authors.

Since 2017, the journal has maintained a biannual publication frequency, publishing two issues per year. Research and review articles are evaluated by external experts through a double-anonymous peer-review process designed to ensure the quality, relevance, and rigor of the published work.

The journal provides immediate open access to its content and does not charge fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication. Its publications are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, which promotes responsible access to, use, and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
